Class Teacher - SEMH - London Borough of Enfield

MPS/UPS & SEN Allowance 

 

We are helping a lovely school in the London Borough of Enfield who are currently seeking a qualified, nurturing, caring and passionate class teacher to join their Ofsted "Good" school. 

The school itself caters to students aged 5-16 years of age, who are neurodiverse or who suffered adverse childhood experiences and have social, emotional and mental health needs. The school promotes and adopts approaches based on attachment theories and neurobiological research to support the students with a supportive framework. They pride themselves not only on the development of the students who attend but also the staff with progression and clear leadership pathways open to staff. 

 

The ideal class teacher will:

  • Be passionate about teaching and education
  • Be understanding and nurturing 
  • Be able to create safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Have experience supporting students with SEMH and SLCN (desirable but not essential)
  • Have excellent communication skills
