Our SEMH special needs school in Harlow is currently seeking a Food Technology Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food technology lessons to students with a range of needs and abilities, ensuring that they are engaged and motivated to learn.
The ideal Food Technology Teacher
- you should have a degree in food technology / cooking or a related subject, as well as experience teaching in a school or education setting
- You should be able to create lesson plans that are tailored to the individual needs of your students, using a range of teaching strategies and resources to ensure that they are able to achieve their full potential.
- Relevant Teaching qualification or experience (UQT considered)
- Passionate about SEND
In addition to your Food Technology teaching responsibilities, you will also be responsible for assessing and monitoring student progress, working closely with other members of the teaching team to ensure that students receive the support and guidance that they need to succeed.
