£90 per day PAYE (no umbrella companies)

 

A prominent special school in East London is searching for Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistants to work with pupils with Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties. They offer multiple development and progression pathways from teacher training and behaviour and communication specialism training to graduates! This school is searching for those looking to take their next step in SEN and provide the highest quality learning support to children and young people with SEND. The ideal Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant may have:

  • Experience working with children and young adults with autism and severe learning difficulties.
  • Or be keen to undergo Team Teach / Restraint Training. 
  • Experience with PECS and other Visual Aids. 
  • Makaton and/or BSL training/experience. 
  • An open and inclusive attitude.
  • An engaging and creative personality.
  • A dedication to working with individuals with Special Educational Needs.

 

An opportunity to analyse the mind and develop a greater understanding of special educational needs, this role would be well suited to a psychology graduate looking to pursue a career in clinical, educational or child psychology.
