Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and autism?

Do you have experience working with children with SEND and language, communication and sensory disabilities and are looking for a new challenge?

I am actively searching for a Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant for a special school in located in Bexley that provides support for learners with a primary diagnosis of autism. This school belongs to a fantastic trust of schools and is a great place to develop a career working in SEND education. The role is to provide academic, emotional, and social support to students with learning difficulties and support their unique processing of the world and help them realise their potential.

 

An ideal candidate should be/have…

  • Passionate about providing high quality care and support to young children and dedicated to helping them fulfil their potential.
  • Experience working with children with SEND or other relevant experience, paid or otherwise!

This role would be an excellent fit for a psychology, education or social science graduate or someone enthusiastic about SEND and would like to pursue a career working with children.

However, regardless of qualifications, if you are passionate about making a true difference in the lives of children with SEND and have the character to work confidently and proactively in a team environment, then this role could be for you.
