Inclusion Room Manager – Permanent - £ up to 25000 – Barking and Dagenham

Do you have at least two years’ experience working in a secondary school in a pastoral role or as a HLTA and looking to progress into a management role?

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some aspirational pupils in a developing area of East London.

We are looking to recruit an Inclusion Room Manager to lead an Inclusion room of a mainstream secondary school in Barking and Dagenham. The purpose of the Inclusion room is to support students who are at risk of exclusion and vulnerable. This is a key role to support the inclusivity ethos across the school and staff team

Main responsibilities for the Inclusion Room Manager

  • Supervision and teaching of students in the Inclusion Room
  • Create personalised timetables
  • Developing a specialist curriculum for students with additional needs
  • Track and monitor students in the Inclusion room
  • Developing positive relationships with students
  • Providing behavioural and emotional support to students


Inclusion Room Manager requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as in a pastoral or HLTA role
  • GCSE and A Levels
  • Ability to form positive relationships
  • Hard working
