Learning Support Assistant

Permanent Contract

£18,000- £20,000 depending on experience

This school is based in Central London with easy transport links. The school provides education to students from Reception to Key stage 4, with Autism and are you dedicated to improving the lives of children with autism and their families. The school has been consistently graded as ‘Outstanding’ and has an exceptional leadership team.

About the role – Learning Support Assistant

  • Will be supporting children with autism on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Small class sizes - no more than 6 children
  • You will help the Class Teacher to deliver 1:1 teaching and support
  • Able to build relationships - This school recognises that families know the pupils best and so we understand the importance of positive and regular home /school communication. Families are heavily involved throughout the education process, this being daily feedback, meetings, consultations, or reviews

What is required – Learning Support Assistant

  • Passionate about supporting students with SEND
  • Committed to personal development and learning specialist skills
  • Proactive and flexible
  • Ability to be a team player and build rapport quickly
  • Ideally a Graduate or someone with previous SEN experience either formal or informal
