Maths Teacher - SEMH specialist school - Harlow - MPS Fringe - Permanent 

Attention all passionate and dedicated Maths Teachers! Are you looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people? Do you have experience working with students who have social, emotional and mental health needs? If so, we want to hear from you!

We are a specialist SEMH SEN school located in Harlow and we are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Maths Teacher to join the team. Our school caters for students with complex needs, including those with SEMH, autism, and challenging behaviours.

As a Maths Teacher in our school, you will have the opportunity to work with small class sizes and provide individualized instruction to help our students achieve their full potential. You will also work collaboratively with our team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement strategies that support our students’ social, emotional and mental health needs.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

  • A passion for teaching Maths and the ability to inspire and engage students
  • A recognised teaching qualification and experience teaching Maths in a secondary setting
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs and a good understanding of their needs and behaviours
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and to communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and other stakeholders
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to embrace new and innovative teaching approaches
