If you are an experienced PE Teacher looking for a new challenge working within a Pupil Referral Unit this is the role for you!
We are working with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) that is based in central London and are looking for a PE Teacher to join their fantastic team in the secondary site. The school offers education to students in primary through to secondary who may be on a short-term or long-term placement as they are not able to attend mainstream education during this time. The needs of the students will be challenging behaviour, social, emotional and mental health needs and can be other additional needs.
PRU PE Teacher role;
- Teaching in a setting with a likeminded and supportive team
- Teaching students PE who have challenging behaviour and SEMH needs
- Building strong and meaningful relationships
- Able to deliver PE to key stage 3 & 4
- To offer a therapeutic teaching approach
- Long-term to permanent opportunities

PRU PE Teacher requirements;
- Qualified Teacher or if unqualified then proven experience of teaching key stage 4
- Experience teaching within a PRU or mainstream school supporting challenging behaviour
- Experience of delivering PE as well as teaching the theory
