Salary: £110 per day PAYE
I am actively recruiting Positive Behaviour Support Assistants for a Special School in Newham, East London. This school provides specialised education and positive behaviour support for pupils with Autism (ASC) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). This specialised role requires a candidate with an understanding of Autism and an appreciation of positive behaviour support.
The Day to Day of a Positive Behaviour Support Assistant -
- Supporting in classes as assigned
- Observing pupils and keeping records
- Calling parents and writing up incidents on behaviour watch
- Attending school CPD, briefings etc
- Answering calls when a student is dysregulated.
- Supporting students 1:1 when dysregulated
- Making resources such as now and next boards
The Ideal Candidate could be –
- Understanding and experienced working with pupils with autism and severe learning difficulty
- Appreciating of positive behaviour support methods
- Dedicated to providing high quality care and support for pupils with SEND
