Primary SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary - £80 - £100 Per Day PAYE

Location – Tower Hamlets

September start

Here at Parker Smith Inclusion, we are currently working with a mainstream Primary School based in the heart of Tower Hamlets, this Primary school have high levels of SEND. I am seeking a passionate and proactive Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to be working 121 with children with additional needs, this school are changing the 121 profile so the child you are working with could also be subject to change. The children within the school have various needs including ASD, ADHD and physical needs also. The successful Primary SEN Teaching Assistant will be based within the classroom, assisting student on a 121 basis they will also have any specific training assisting with career development. This team pride themselves in their compassionate child-centred approach that promotes teamwork, inclusivity, and progression.

The ideal Primary SEN Teaching Assistant

  • The Primary SEN Teaching Assistant SHOULD have experience working with SEN within a school setting
  • Has experience supporting students within early years or reception, assisting children with special educational needs
  • The ideal Primary SEN Teaching Assistant should be punctual and flexible
  • Should be able to build and maintain strong relationships whilst enforcing boundaries
  • Is committed to changing the lives of vulnerable young people, and will always go above and beyond
