Monday to Friday - 08:30 to 16:00

 

Are you seeking to be a positive role model to students with challenging behaviour?

We are working with a PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) situated in Lambeth to find a Behaviour Mentor to support students ages 11 to 16 who have been removed from mainstream education due to challenging behaviour. Within this role, you will build bonds with the students and support them throughout the academic day to help encourage focus and positive behaviour.

This amazing opportunity provides a rewarding role where you will see the students grow and develop both academically and personally. You will also gain amazing training and credentials for your own professional development.

 

PRU Behaviour Mentor requirements:

● Experience of working with young people with SEND and/or Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties or experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication

● Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor / Youth Worker experience

● Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships

● A passion for working with SEND is essential

● Excellent experience and training for aspiring Teachers, Pastoral workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, and Social Workers
