The role

I am looking for an enthusiastic, resilient individual to join an SEMH school as a primary SEN Teacher in Bromley. This fantastic school is based in Bromley and supports young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. All students have an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) and therefore require someone who can be adaptable to help give them an education. The school adopt a therapeutic approach to teaching and implements ‘Learn, Grow, Thrive’ throughout their curriculum.

The ideal candidate

The ability to be adaptable, resilient and compassionate is key to working in an SEMH school. Although academic achievement is important, it is also important that you possess the skills to support the children through emotional distress.
