An exciting new opportunity has become available at a Pupil Referral Unit, a leading PRU that is committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for students who require alternative educational settings. Their mission is to help every student reach their full potential through tailored educational programs and comprehensive support.

Role Overview: Seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator/Receptionist to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update student records and databases.
  • Working front of house
  • Handle correspondence and communication with parents, students, and external agencies.
  • Coordinate and manage appointments, meetings, and events.
  • Provide administrative support to the teaching staff and senior management team.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation.
  • Manage office supplies and resources, ensuring efficient use and replenishment.
  • Support the implementation of school policies and procedures.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Experience using SIMS
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A compassionate and understanding approach to working with children and young people
  • First Aid Experience (Or willing to be trained)
