Are you looking for a long-term SEN Teacher role?

Are you a dedicated and qualified teacher looking to work with a wonderful secondary school where the focus is very much on creating a warm and friendly atmosphere for the pupils? 

I am now working with a small, welcoming and inclusive school in the London Borough of Greenwich, who are now looking to hire a Secondary SEN History, Geography and Humanities Teacher to join their wonderful team.

Requirements of a Secondary SEN History, Geography and Humanities Teacher 

  • A dedicated and dynamic personality. 
  • The ability to teach KS3 is a requirement. 
  • To work with SEN staff and support staff (including prior discussion and joint planning) in order to benefit from their specialist knowledge and to maximise their effectiveness within lessons
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEN, although we welcome applications from qualified teachers currently working in mainstream schools, looking to work with the SEN field 
  • To contribute towards the implementation of EHCPs as detailed in the current Code of Practice particularly the planning and recording of appropriate actions and outcomes related to set targets
  • Experience teaching secondary would be highly valued for this role 
  • The school would be happy to consider newly qualified teachers
