Secondary SEN Teacher

 

Pay Grade – Up to £41,000 per annum

 

Location – Richmond Upon Thames

 

Start Date – September

I am working with a unique specialist day school in the borough of Richmond Upon Thames that caters to both primary and secondary students with speech, language and communication difficulties and/or an additional diagnosis of ASD. The school is seeking an experienced Secondary SEN Teacher to support the KS3/KS4 students with their academic journeys; providing the best education and care to ensure students shine and reach their full potential.

About the School

  • Specialist day school catering for students with speech and language and social communication difficulties
  • Personalised approaches to learning, ensuring individual needs are met.
  • A multi-professional and highly skilled team, including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Counsellors.
  • Additional therapies, including music and art therapy.

 

Secondary SEN Teacher Requirements

  • Must hold a valid QTS or equivalent.
  • As a Secondary SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for providing the highest standard of education to students, therefore the ability to build a strong rapport with students and staff and be able to hold a strong presence is essential.
  • Every day is different as a Secondary SEN Teacher, so resilience and adaptability are a must.
  • Passionate about SEN and positively impacting the lives of students.
