Up to £100 per day PAYE

 

Can you be a role model to  young people with SEMH?

Are you interested in sports and fitness? 

Do you maybe  have Construction or Mechanics experience? 

 

We are looking for a SEMH support staff to work with college-age students; this will be a class-based role supporting the behaviour of the learners. This role is based within a SEMH specialist setting for students who for many reasons, are unable to access mainstream education. The class consists of 4 boys with behavioural issues, so the college is looking for a very strong role model.

 

● Experience working with young people with SEND and/or Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties or experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication

● Secondary Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor / Youth Worker experience

● Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships

● A passion for working with SEND is essential

● Excellent experience and training for aspiring Teachers, Pastoral workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, and Social Workers
