We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our students. Our dedicated team is looking for a SEMH Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join us in our mission to empower these young learners.

Position Overview: As a SEMH LSA, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with SEMH needs, both on a one-to-one basis and in group settings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized support to students with SEMH needs.
  • Assisting in the facilitation of group activities and lessons.
  • Collaborating with teachers and therapists to implement tailored strategies.
  • Creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional development.
  • Monitoring and reporting student progress.

Requirements: To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A genuine passion for working with students with SEMH needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work one-on-one and in groups.
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or a relevant qualification (desirable).
