Are you a nurturing and dedicated Primary Teacher with a passion for supporting children in their social, emotional, and academic development? Are you ready to make a positive impact in the lives of young learners with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs (SEMH), Autism, and associated learning difficulties? I am working with a therapeutic SEMH school located in Wandsworth and they are looking for a Primary Teacher to join them in September!

 

About the school

This school is located in Wandsworth, South West London and they provide a nurturing and supportive environment where every child can flourish. The school is dedicated to offering safe, stimulating, and community-based activities to support their learners as they grow and develop, preparing them for a successful future. The school also has a farm!

They are currently seeking a Primary Teacher to teach children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday during term time.

 

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Therapeutic and nurturing approach to teaching and supporting students
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs), Autism, and associated learning difficulties
  • Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
