                    Are you a Qualified Teacher looking to work in a SEND environment?

We are working with a fantastic school to lead a class in a school which specialises in SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health). Within this unique role, you and a additional teacher will lead a small class of less than 10 students, sharing in teaching and lesson planning, with management on the class and who does what being in you and your partner teacher’s hands.  The students will be working at KS3/4 level, and the school is very accommodating of those looking to move into a SEND environment. They provide their teachers Mac Book.

 

As an SEMH Teacher You Can Expect:

  • Two Teachers per classroom, meaning shared workload and control over what subjects you teach together each week; turns are taken between supporting the lesson whilst the other leads.
  • Small classes with a maximum class size of six.
  • A new fast laptop is provided upon successful appointment for marking and lesson planning.
  • Full support to those looking to move from a Mainstream environment to a SEND School.
  • Training provided to all staff by various external professionals, p[aid for by the school.
  • You would be supporting SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) needs, such as students dealing with trauma at an all-through school.
