Location: Croydon- South-East London

Experience: Informal/Voluntary/experienced

At Parker Smith Inclusion, we are actively looking to recruit a passionate SEMH/SEND Primary Teaching Assistant for an excellent school located in Croydon- South-East London. At this school they offer support for vulnerable children who will have SEN diagnosis usually with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and mental health needs).

SEMH/SEND School

I am looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to join an excellent school in Croydon to help to support the learning and development of the children here, some of which will have complex behaviour needs; sometimes accompanying SEND.

At this school, they are focused on delivering the highest level of support, teaching to every single pupil even in the most challenging situations. Their top priority is to ensure that the students here are given the best opportunity to excel in their studies, leading them to a successful and filled lives. SEHM Teaching Assistant Requirements

  • Ability to build strong meaningful relationships
  • The ability to enthuse; inspire others and have a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Resilient and able to work well in challenging situations.
  • Passion for SEND is essential.
  • Experience working with SEMH, SEND, ACE, AHDH.

 

What you can expect as an SEMH Teaching Assistant

  • Able to have a positive impact on the lives of the most vulnerable children.
  • As a SEMH/SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to calmly face challenging situations
  • Excellent experience and training for aspiring Teachers, Pastoral workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, and Social Workers
  • Long term to perm for immediate start applications
  • Develop your SEND/SEMH skills further.
