I am now working with a fantastic and supportive mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Greenwich who are seeking experienced SEN Learning Support Assistants to join their wonderful team.

You will be working 1:1 with a KS1 pupil who has more severe needs and will need significant help in order to receive the very best education possible.

Experience working with SEN and complex needs, as well as experience using PECS and MAKATON would be highly valued for this role.

Requirements of a SEN LSA:

  • Significant experience working with SEN, Autism and complex needs would be highly valued for this role
  • Assisting with personal care would be a requirement for this role
  • Experience using PECS and MAKATON would be highly valued for this role
  • A kind personality who is looking for a long-term career helping care for children with SEN would be ideal
  • Someone with a care background or experience working in a school would be a great candidate for this role.
  • A real team player who is friendly and empathetic, and understands the value of a flexible approach where necessary when working in a school
