Brilliant Special School in Newham for secondary and post-16 students.

 

I am actively recruiting a SEN Planning Preparation and Assessment Teacher for a superb Special School in Newham. This school works predominantly with learners with ASC and communication needs. The site is purpose built and boasts classrooms specifically designed as low-arousal environments to promote a calm environment for learning. Similarly, the school has fantastic outdoors and sports facilities used for both physical development ad to aid pupils’ regulation.

This role involves working across different classes and being adaptable to a variety of needs and able to take a lesson plan and make it your own.

 

The ideal candidate should be…

  • Adaptable and flexible in their approach
  • QTS/QTLS preferred - but we also welcome applications from experienced Unqualified Teachers!! 
  • Confident with new classes and working with a range of pupil needs.
  • Fun and engaging – able to take lesson plans and give them life!
  • Looking for a variable, interesting and unique role
  • Open to progression, development, and training opportunities
