SEN Primary Teacher – SEMH

This is the role for you…

 

I am actively searching for a SEN Primary Teacher to start urgently at a SEMH school in East London. This school belongs to a group of schools catering for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and requires an adaptable and resilient teacher for their primary class. This school champions an intervention over sanction approach and is committed to supporting students who have been unable to access mainstream education in a supportive and nurturing way. Students are encouraged to learn through their interests and connect to their learning in a way that has previously been inaccessible for them.

 

 

The ideal candidate may have/be…

  • Resilient and committed to a long-term career working with students with SEMH.
  • QTS preferred.
  • Relevant experience with students with challenging behaviour and in need of additional learning support.
  • Creative and adaptable teacher.
  • Confident leading a class and good classroom management.

 

This role requires, resilience, determination and a nurturing, caring approach to children with mental health problems.
