SEN Residential Care Officer Working Hours: 7:30am – 9:30am then 2:30pm – 8:30pm

I am actively searching for an SEN Residential Care Officer for an all-boys SEMH Primary School in Chigwell. This is a residential school for children who have disengaged from mainstream education with the aim of supporting every child to develop strategies to manage their behaviour. The children’s boarding houses all have a family, community feel and supportive atmosphere amongst staff. This role is to work from Monday to Friday, during the hours of 7:30am – 9:30am and then 2:30pm – 8:30pm, covering the children’s mealtimes and hours outside of school.
The ideal candidate should be/have…
- A driving licence.
- Dedicated to supporting vulnerable children.
- Experience with children (either professionally or personally).
- Resilient and self-assured - ready to muck it straight-away and hit the ground running!
