Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with a range of special educational needs? We are currently recruiting for a reputable SEN school in Harlow that specializes in working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Moderate Learning Disabilities (MLD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and non-verbal communication challenges.

Position: Various Positions Available
Location: Harlow Employment
Type: PAYE (Permanent, Full-Time)
Salary: £80-£90 per day (dependent on experience)

Roles and Responsibilities:
As a member of our team, your roles and responsibilities may include:

  • Providing support to students with a wide range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, PMLD, MLD, SEMH, and non-verbal communication challenges.
  • Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to support student development.
  • Using your empathy and dedication to engage and motivate students.
  • Assisting with daily living skills and personal care, where necessary.

Requirements:
To succeed in these roles, you should ideally have:

  • Previous experience working with students with special educational needs, especially those with ASD, ADHD, PMLD, MLD, SEMH, and non-verbal communication challenges.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.
  • The ability to adapt and be flexible in your support methods.
