Located in the London Borough of Sutton, this unique Special School prides itself on providing outstanding educational opportunities for students with special educational needs (SEN). This school are looking for a full-time teacher to join their expert team starting as soon as possible. Unqualified teachers will also be considered, providing relevant teaching experience.
In this exciting role, you will:
- work part of a specialist team to lead classes of around 8 children in all aspects of the curriculum
- prepare and deliver inspirational and creative lessons
- deliver highly effective teaching, learning and assessment and make a broader positive contribution to school life
- promote a love of learning and enable pupils to make progress towards positive academic and EHCP outcomes
We’d love to hear from you if:
- you have qualified teacher status (QTS) in the UK
- you are unqualified but have a experience working as a teacher
- you are passionate about helping children and young people reach their full potential
- you have experience working with SEN learners between the ages of 12 -16
- you are able to think creatively and engage positively with learners with a broad range of complex needs
