Here at Parker Smith Inclusion, we are currently working with a mainstream Primary School based in the heart of Romford, this Primary school have high levels of SEND. I am seeking a passionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to be working 121 with a child in reception with additional needs. As the SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support a child with additional needs. The child is very underdeveloped, so would need full assistance throughout the day. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be based within the classroom, assisting this student on a 121 basis they will also have any specific training assisting with career development. This team pride themselves in their compassionate child-centred approach that promotes teamwork, inclusivity, and progression.
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant
- The SEN Teaching Assistant SHOULD have experience working with SEN within a school setting
- Has experience supporting students within early years or reception, assisting children with special educational needs
- The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant should be punctual
- Can build and maintain strong relationships whilst enforcing boundaries
- Is committed to changing the lives of vulnerable young people, and will always go above and beyond
