START DATE: September           

CONTRACT TYPE: Long term         

PAY: £80-90 Per day

The role

 

I am looking for a Teaching Assistant seeking a new opportunity to work in a fantastic school based in Havering. This school really believes that every young person in the school is part of something inspirational. They really are proud of the achievements of every single pupil and pride themselves as a centre of excellence. The Teaching Assistant role will include assisting with the planning of activities, monitoring pupil’s progress, intervening when necessary, providing relevant feedback to the classroom teacher, and performing general Teaching Assistant duties.

The Teaching Assistant should also feel confident to deal with conflicts and incidents that arise in the classroom and be able to handle these in a safe and appropriate manner.

 

 

The ideal candidate

 

The successful Teaching Assistant for this role must have a genuine passion for working with young, vulnerable people. You should be empathetic, kind and keen to learn! The Teaching Assistant should be a positive role model and spread positivity! Having the ability to build a good rapport both with young people and the classroom teacher would be most beneficial as good relationships are key to succeed as a Teaching Assistant.
