The School

Here at Parker Smith Inclusion, we are working with a fantastic school in the London Borough of Croydon. The school have a strong and experienced senior leadership team who will be working to support the successful candidate.

What you can expect as an SEN Teaching Assistant 

  • The SEN Teaching Assistant must be a positive role model to support communication, with a sensitive, nurturing and consistent approach
  • You should have the ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students
  • You must be able to work alongside a likeminded team who are equally as dedicated to the learning and personal development of young people

Requirements of a SEN Teaching Assistant

  • The ideal applicant will have experience in working with children with SEN or a strong drive to help and support SEN children within a school setting
  • Ideally will have experience working with SEN - whether personal or professional experience we want to hear from you
  • The perfect SEN Teaching Assistant should have a nurturing, resilient and calming personality
  • Drive to ensure the pupils are able to build on a platform for life-long learning and educational success.
  • The ability be a positive role model for all and promote good behaviour.
  • Personal care is a requirement for this role
