About the School and SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity

The small and friendly primary school is based in Havering quite close to the Essex border.  The school have an excellent track record of training teachers and have a wonderful and supportive SLT. 

As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will support a Year 5 students with global delay, the student has no behaviour problems just needs support with emotions and learning. 

SEN Teaching Assistant requirements

  • Passionate about supporting students with SEND
  • Emotional resilience and previous experience working with children/young people with SEMH/ASD/ADHD
  • Committed to personal development and learning specialist skills
  • Proactive and flexible
  • Ability to be a team player and build rapport quickly
