SEN Teaching Assistant
Full time £80-£95 a day PAYE
I am currently working with a brilliant SEND school in London for ages 4-16 whose ethos is focusing on nurturing to challenge and inspire children to achieve their full potential. They are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support one of their classroom teachers. Working for this school as a SEN Teaching Assistant will be a very rewarding experience.
This SEN Teaching Assistant job would suit a candidate
- Who would not only deliver a SEN Teaching Assistant job requirements but somebody who is kind and patient
- That will be willing to go the extra mile in the SEN Teaching Assistant role to make sure all students feel important and listened to
- Who wishes to help build the students confidence to become independent and valued members of society.
- That feels confident to support the Class teacher with planning and assessing the class and on occasion leading the class if Teacher may be absent.
- Able to work with smaller groups or individuals. This could be by managing behaviour in class, helping them to develop their communication skills with peers or planning activities in line with class lessons that will be easier for them to understand.
- That must be flexible as every day is different when working as a SEN LSA
