SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Greenford, Ealing
Role: Teaching Assistant (TA) specialising in ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
Class Size: Up to 12 students Temp to Perm opportunity
Pay Range: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience and responsibility)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
We're currently on the lookout for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the fantastic team at a SEND School. In this role, you'll have the rewarding task of working closely with a class comprising up to 12 students spanning years 7 to 11. Your mission? To not only provide support and assistance to these amazing young people but also to be a positive guiding light in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to students with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs
- Build strong relationships with students and earn their trust
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to implement individualised support plans
- Assist in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Encourage students to engage with their learning and develop essential skills
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
- DBS - if you do not have one we can assist you
- Ability to build rapport with students and establish positive relationships
- Patience, empathy, and resilience in supporting students with diverse needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
