Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs and autism?

Do you have experience working with children with SEND and ASC (autism spectrum conditions) and are looking for a new challenge?

Are you searching for a supportive and community driven workplace with training and placement opportunities?

An exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant special school is calling!

I am actively searching for a nurturing and talented individual to work as an SEN teaching assistant in a special school that has dedicated sites for profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and autism spectrum conditions (ASC). I am looking for committed and passionate people to employ in locations across East London, willing to make a difference.

Even if your experience is informal/voluntary, I want to hear from you!

An ideal candidate should have/be…

  • A kind and nurturing approach towards children and young people with SEND
  • Proactive and optimistic about making a difference in children’s development and wellbeing
  • Experience working with children and/or young people

This role would be an excellent fit for a psychology, education or social science graduate or someone enthusiastic about SEND and would like to pursue a career working with children.

However, regardless of qualifications, if you are passionate about making a true difference in the lives of children with SEND and have the character to work confidently and proactively in a team environment, then this role could be for you.
