SEN Teaching Assistants – South West London

Do you have experience supporting children with special educational needs?

Do you have experience working with pupils who have an EHCP that requires 1:1 learning support?

Are you keen to make a difference in the lives of children and young people whilst building your experience and furthering your career in SEND/SEMH?

I am seeking engaging and passionate SEN Teaching Assistants who want to provide meaningful and essential support to vulnerable children who require it most!

The children you will support will have various needs, including significant complex behaviour challenges and ASC. Homeschooling will have been incredibly tough for some of these students without dedicated 1:1 support and they really need you now more than ever!

 

SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements

  •  Experience working with children/young people with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties, speech and communication difficulties or experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, mental health issues
  • Learning Support / Teaching Assistant experience
  •  Proactive, flexible and willing approach
  • Ability to build rapport with disengaged students
  • Patience and understanding of the difficulties surrounding children’s return to school
