Are you a dedicated and experienced SENCO looking for a new challenge? I am working with a supportive and inclusive mainstream primary school based in Enfield that is seeking a passionate SENCO to join their team. The primary school has over 500 children and is part of a leading multi-academy trust.
SENCO Role;
As SENCO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the school provides the highest quality of education for all our students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities. You will work closely with the teachers and support staff to identify and support children who require additional assistance, and you will develop and implement strategies to enable them to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record as a SENCO with experience of working with children with SEN, and will have a deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including parents, outside agencies and other professionals.
Part of this role will be to teach part of the week on an agreed timeable.
**NASENCO not required but for those taking on the permanent contract there is an expectation that you are willing to qualify in the next 2 years.
