About the Speech and Language Therapists Role:
As part of our warm and supportive multidisciplinary therapy team, you'll play a crucial role in helping students with ASD and complex needs at our welcoming SEND school in Hounslow. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Conducting assessments and crafting intervention plans
- Providing engaging group and individual therapy sessions
- Collaborating closely with teachers and professionals to assist students in the classroom
- Creating and delivering training sessions for staff and fellow professionals
- Contributing your expertise to curriculum development and maintaining detailed records
Requirements for Speech and Language Therapists:
We're on the lookout for enthusiastic and compassionate individuals who are dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of young people with special needs. Key qualities we're looking for include:
- A solid grasp of the value of ABA methodology
- A genuine eagerness to grow and thrive within our school community
- Previous experience working with students on the autism spectrum
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable manner
- Registration with RCSLT and HCPC, or a commitment to working towards it
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
