I am working with an outstanding SEN school based in Merton, South West London, that is seeking a passionate and hard-working Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school offers holistic and creative education to students in their early years through to secondary who are not able to attend mainstream school due to their additional needs and learning difficulties.
- Up to 8 students per class
- Working 1:1 and within small groups
- Creative learning: arts and crafts, music, drama, dance, and sports!
- Life skills, preparing for adulthood
- Hydrotherapy (swimming)
- Assisting with personal care

Teaching Assistant requirements:
- Experience working with children and young people with SEN and/or Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties or experience with SEMH, Sensory processing, social communication
- Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant experience
- Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships
- A passion for working with SEN is essential
