Teaching Assistant
£100 - 110 per day PAYE

Located in Merton, this incredible special school for children aged 10 - 16 are seeking two experienced teaching assistants to join their friendly, welcoming team. Located within a newly-refurbished building, the school hosts a range of fantastic facilities including large open classrooms, a gym (which staff are more than welcome to use!) as well as specialist facilities for IT, food technology and science. There are also calming therapy spaces for students who may need 'Bounce Back Breaks' and a landscaped outdoor area with an all weather pitch.
Working in small classes of maximum 10 pupils, you will be supporting students working towards the national curriculum as well as working together to help develop essential life skills. There are a wide range of trips and visits built into the curriculum to help build independence and prepare students for life after education - for example, a trip to the cinema to watch a movie that had been studied during English lessons!
