We are working with a wonderful Mainstream Secondary School in the London Borough of Havering who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to help support their students with their learning for September 2024. You will be working  as a general class Teaching Assistant but also supporting the students with Speech and Language needs. The school has wonderful facilities such as a fantastic Sports Centre with Swimming Pool, dedicated SEND area and they offer brilliant extra curricular activities within Dance, Drama and Music. 


A successful Teaching Assistant-

  • Will provide support to small group or individuals
  • Can develop positive relationships
  • Be encouraging students in the social and academic processes of the school
  • Will assist students to become more independent learners
  • Can help Teachers prepare teaching and learning materials for students 
  • Support the Teachers in managing of the whole class
  • Will collaborate and provide feedback  to the SENCO
