Teaching Assistant - SEN

Location: Tower Hamlets

Start Date: ASAP or September

PAY: £80-£90 Per day PAYE

The role

I am looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a primary setting with children with Special Educational Needs. The school I’m working with are a one form entry mainstream primary school in the heart of Tower Hamlets. They have a strong belief that all children thrive in an environment in which they are happy, challenged, and secure. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will feel comfortable and supported in their role and encouraged to reach their full potential within a primary school setting.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Experienced working with Special needs, ideally autism
  • The ideal Teaching Assistant would have experience working in a school setting
  • The perfect SEN Teaching Assistant should have a nurturing and calming personality
  • The SEN Teaching Assistant should have a passion and drive to ensure the pupils are able to build on a platform for lifelong learning and educational success.
  • The SEN Teaching Assistant should be a positive role model for all and always be promoting good behaviour.
