Parker Smith Inclusion is working in partnership with SEN schools and Alternative Provisions in Sutton, who are seeking roles where they can make a genuine difference in young people's lives, where you can nurture the individual.

The Role:

  • Supporting all age groups but specifically students in KS2, KS3, KS4 learners working at a KS2 level, following the National Curriculum in a way that meets their emotional and learning needs.
  • Join a school that operates with a trauma-informed and therapeutic approach, where every staff member is trained to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.

What We’re Looking For

  • You must have a proven background as a Teaching Assistant/Behaviour Mentor previously (school based experience)
  • Professionals with a deep understanding of SEMH, Autism, and ADHD, and the adaptability to meet complex needs.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEND
  • A patient, empathetic, and positive approach
  • Ideally, a degree in Psychology, Education, Child Development or a related field (not essential)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Resilience and adaptability in challenging situations
