Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant 2 Year Old Provision within MS Primary Newham, Maryland September 25 start, temp2perm opportunities 8:30 - 3:30 A fantastic MS primary based a very short walk from Maryland (Elizabeth Line) Station are seeking an experienced SEN support member of staff to work with a child within their 2 year old provision on site. This provision is within the MS school with its own separate well resourced outdoor space, you'll be working with a highly experienced Early Years Teacher & other SEN Teaching Assistant, this is a small class of 6 pupils. The children's learning is focused on sensory and learning through play, using resources such as wet play, messy play, bucket time, zones of regulation, a great candidate would be someone that has worked within an EYFS or Nursery provision that is now seeking to move into a school setting. This school is a great team to be part of as they will be looking to transition all temporary staff into a full time permanent contract as long as they feel you're the right fit for their school. Early Years Practitioner MS Primary within EYFS provision Newham £24,000 - £24,500 Full Time Please be aware you need minimum Level 3 in Childcare to be considered for this role. A fantastic supportive school I'm working with in the heart of Newham are seeking an Early Years Practitioner to start with them in September 2025 to support their ever growing early years department. As the role is within early years the children could not have a diagnosis but could display needs such as autism, speech and language challenges, pre-verbal, non-verbal, global delay, EAL and learning difficulties. You will be working under the guidance of the class teacher and colleagues, encouraging children's development, independance, self-reliance and problem solving skills. The children will be in the department all day, it is a very busy, hands on role that will require and enthusiastic, energetic, creative individual. This role will require you to be involved with outdoor activities such as swimming, educational visits etc, it would be beneficial if you already have first aid training. Some key work for the role would be: Oversee the introduction and settling in process for children and families into the school/centre, including initial home visit with parent and giving initial information on school/centre policies. Responsibility in planning, tracking and evaluating. Set individual targets and monitor progress. Carry out a full record keeping programme for each child according to school/centre policy. Be the first contact for key parents. Set targets and review IEPs, in collaboration with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO). Personal care, with assistance from colleagues.
