Primary School SENCO Southwark (South London) MPS – Plus SEND Point Registered SENCO 08:30 to 16:00 Are you a SENCO looking for a rewarding position within a School Autism Provision? We are looking for someone to fill the position of Qualified SENCO within a fantastic SEND School with an Autism Provision (ARP) in Southwark London. The successful candidate will work with the head of the ARP and others within the school to support students with EHCPs – with their additional resource provision specialising in Autism, with most students being verbal and some having complex needs. Though the SENCO will also have duties for the wider school and EHCPs relating to other needs. They are looking for someone to join the team in January 2025 or Prior, potentially with a short period of time where they will take over from the existing SENCO. SEN Teacher South London - Southwark Monday to Friday Temp to Perm 08:30 to 15:45 (later finish on training days) £165 to £250 a day (PAYE) We are working with a fantastic SEND school in the South London Borough of Southwark to find someone to lead a class as a SEND Teacher, teaching a class of students with a diagnosis of Autism (ASC/ASD). The students at the school all have an EHCP and range from ages 4 to 16 and are mainly high functioning, with younger students using play and activity-based learning whilst older students will learn functional skills alongside other lessons. In the classroom, you teach up to 12 students and will be supported by 3 Teaching Assistants whilst have access to various resources and facilities. The school is bespoke, so it is designed for the needs providing faculty with everything needed. The school provides bespoke training to all staff including with professionals from outside the school as well as from their internal teams which includes a wide range of Speech and language and Occupational Therapists. Pastoral Teaching Assistant Temp to Perm/Permanent London Borough of Southwark We are working with a Trauma informed school within Southwark to find a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work with students with Challenging Behaviour and SEMH. The Environment is very supportive, with you being a Senior Teaching Assistant, occasionally supporting a class of up 6 students in various subjects, and occasionally taking classes as a cover teacher. The students at the school range between 11 to 16 and the school is looking for someone to be a positive guiding force, assisting the students with their personal development just as much as their academic whilst also fitting the positive vibe of the school. The school offers 3 days off during termtime (something not many schools do) alongside access to medical care outside of the school and a once-a-month therapist if needed.
