About the Role

SEMH Primary Teacher  | South West London | SEMH school  | September 2025  | Permanent  | MPS/UPS 

Parker Smith Inclusion is currently working closely with a SEND school based in South West London who are looking for a primary teacher to join their team next September. The school primarily supports students with social, emotional and mental health needs who are between the ages of 5 to 19 years old. 

This SEMH school offers a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere that empowers students to achieve their potential through a blend of academic, vocational, and therapeutic programs.

Teachers at this school will benefit from purpose-built facilities, including a primary hub, secondary school resources, and a vocational centre with courses like construction, barbering, and hospitality. In order to be considered for this SEMH primary role you will have

  • Have successfully completed teacher training 
  • Experience supporting students with special educational needs or additional needs, particularly with SEMH, Autism, and ADHD
  • Knowledge and experience of the KS1 & KS2 curriculum 
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Knowledge of how to best support students with SEMH/students on the autism spectrum
