We are looking for teachers with recent and successful class teaching experience who have high expectations of what children and young people with learning disabilities and autism can achieve. Experience of teaching pupils with learning disabilities and / or autism in a special school is desirable, but our school are very supportive for any mainstream teachers looking to transition into a specialist setting. Teaching in a special school is unbelievably rewarding - If you have been considering a move to SEND teaching, this could be the right move for you!

Everything in this school has been carefully designed to foster confidence, curiosity, and progress—for students and staff alike.

As a SEN Teacher, you’ll benefit from:

  • Small class sizes, allowing you to focus on each student’s progress
  • Brand-new facilities with high-quality resources to bring learning to life
  • team of therapists and support staff, ensuring you’re never alone in managing challenges
  • Pathways curriculum
  • Using interactive resources and games to build confidence
  • Breaking concepts into manageable steps to reduce anxiety and their triggers
  • Using visual, practical, and hands-on methods to engage students

Success in this setting isn’t just about academic progress—it’s about building problem-solving skills, resilience, and self-belief. Whether it’s a student grasping multiplication for the first time, confidently tackling algebra, or simply overcoming their fear of numbers, every small win is a step towards lifelong achievement.

A Leadership Team That Invests in You!

A supportive team makes all the difference in specialist education, and this school’s leadership is committed to helping teachers grow.

Whether you want to:

  • Refine your SEND expertise
  • Develop new teaching strategies
  • Progress into leadership
