We are working with a special SEND school based in Enfield. They cater to children aged 3 - 16 with complex needs and provide a safe and nurturing learning environment. The school is seeking experienced and passionate teachers to join their wonderful team.
Main Duties:
- To plan lessons and teach a class of 10 - 12 students with complex needs, mainly with ASC
- To be resilient, hard-working and have an understanding of mental health and teaching neurodiverse children
- Responsibility for tracking pupil progress and monitoring to support teaching and learning
- Deliver dynamic and creative lessons
- Built positive relationships with students, parents and carers
- Experience teaching children with SEND

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

What the role involves:
Supporting students with additional needs in the classroom, during activities and in a weekly college placement
Providing tailored assistance based on individual learning plans
Assisting with communication, emotional regulation, and sensory needs
Delivering personal care in some cases (training provided)
Helping create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Who we’re looking for:

Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
Experience in a school, care, or youth work setting is beneficial but not essential
Comfortable with personal care (training provided)

A specialist SEN school based in Enfield are looking for a passionate SEND teacher to join their team this September. The school caters for students in Key Stage 3 with complex needs, a high percentage being ASC. In this role, you will be teaching pupils across the curriculum in year 7 with complex needs, including autism, communication difficulties, and cognitive learning challenges, they are working at year 3/4 level.

About the role:

The class will have 4 members of support staff to help support the class teacher, 3 SEN teaching assistant and 1 HLTA
Planning lessons that support communication, emotional regulation and functional independence
Able to build a strong and trusting relationship

Confident teaching children at lower Key Stage 2 level
Able to teach all subjects to children learning at primary level
