Proactive and positive about making a difference to children’s development and wellbeing
Excel at building relationships with both students and staff
Live within commutable distance of Islington and surrounding areas
Pay
Long-term contracts are available for those who are looking for immediate work. We understand that pay is extremely important and it must be clear and simple! For that reason we have chosen to pay our staff via PAYE only. Quoted rates are gross pay and your pay will never involve employer's NI deductions or admin fees
Just as roles vary, so will the remuneration depending on the role requirements and your experience. You will often see these roles advertised as daily rates, please note that we pay PAYE only, please bear in mind that all school based work will be term time only

We here at Parker Smith Inclusion are working with a wonderful Primary School that are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their fantastic team. They have a inspiring ARP that caters for pupils with ASD and other moderate learning difficulties. A school-based Occupational Therapist aims to help vulnerable children and young people be as independent as possible. You will look at the whole child, tackling individual tasks and helping children find ways to do what they need and want to do. You will also collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team, including Physiotherapists, Speech & Language Therapists, and teaching/support staff. You will engage with the children and young people within the school in innovative, helpful therapeutic and meaningful activities, supporting them in learning and reaching their full potential.
Requirements
You must hold a recognised Occupational Therapy degree and be HCPC registered
You will need solid experience, ideally working with highly vulnerable children and young people or children with Autism/ASC and learning disabilities
Overseas-trained and newly qualified Band 5 Occupational Therapists are welcome to apply!

Located in Epping Forest, this incredible specialist school are looking for a Class Teacher to join their ASD Base set within a mainstream primary school. Offering full time education to children aged 4-11 with an EHCP and diagnosis of Autism, this purpose-built school has beautiful, colourful classrooms and a spacious, well-resourced outdoor area. There is also a large on-site swimming pool and sports facilities which is used by the whole school.
As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging, individualised and creative lessons that foster curiosity and wonder. You will need to be organised, reflective, and able to continually adapt your teaching according to the pupils individual needs. There are often regular opportunities to join lessons and activities with the pupils mainstream peers so a flexible attitude is also needed.
