1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant
ASAP Start, Full-time, Term Time Only
£102 per day PAYE
We are looking for a positive, engaging and energetic person to work with a teenage girl who is transiting back to a school setting. After being at home since COVID, the family and school are working together to support this lovely young lady feel comfortable and safe in the environment.
As a wheelchair user, she will require assistance with some mobility issues while also supporting her teachers in delivering a personalised learning plan. As a child with ASD, it is important that the right candidate will spend time building a strong bond in focusing on her interests, hobbies and ambitions.
Located in Wandsworth, this is an amazing opportunity to work in unison with a specialist SEN school who have an incredibly supportive headteacher and wonderful staff team. The team take pride in providing creative and therapeutic education for children aged 11-19 with high-functioning Autism and associated learning difficulties. Supporting this transition will involve working between both the family home and school setting so a driving license is ideal.
