We are working closely with a lovely primary school based in the Hillingdon area. The school has a wonderful atmosphere, where the staffs and pupils wellbeing is top priority. This role would require determination, leadership skills and a nurturing nature. The position is for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work primarily with a pupil who has a diagnosis of Autism and Challenging Behaviour. This 1:1 Teaching Assistant position requires strong behaviour managment due to the needs of the pupils so the right candidate for this role will of had experience working with challenging behaviours previously and any extra training/qualifications in this field would be fantastic.
The school is looking to appoint an energetic, patient, firm but kind Behaviour Teaching Assistant to be based across a mix of different KS2 year groups. The school are welcoming applications from anyone with a background in supporting children and young people with Autism and challenging behaviour, this could be in a youth work or non - education based background.
