The school are a leading secondary school for Autism in South West London, and we are looking for an Alternative Curriculum Teacher to join our team. As an Alternative Curriculum Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with a group of dynamic and diverse students who are eager to learn and explore new ideas.
As Alternative Curriculum Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a curriculum that is tailored to the individual needs and learning styles of each student. You will work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to develop engaging and innovative lessons that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.
The ideal candidate for this Alternative Curriculum Teacher position is someone who has a deep understanding of autism, has previous experience working with students with autism, or holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). You should be an excellent communicator, have a strong sense of empathy, and be able to adapt your teaching style to meet the unique needs of each student.
